This remodel offered a modern backdrop for a vibrant California-native planting design. Board-formed concrete, weathered steel, and oiled hardwood create a fresh palette of materials. Tucked into a steep shady hillside, this design offers social spaces and gardening opportunities. The design ties into the home's floor plan, to create a seamless indoor/outdoor experience.
